Hence, we've launched our Better Stands initiative, transitioning from disposable stands to reusable or recyclable structures at our events. By collaborating with you and your contractors, we believe we can significantly reduce waste while ensuring you receive an unparalleled exhibiting experience.

What is the Plan?

We are encouraging all exhibitors and their appointed contractors to join us in not building disposable stands.

The Better Stands programme has been divided into three key stages – Bronze, Silver, and Gold. You can view the full details here. This helps facilitate a gradual transition from disposable to reusable stands for all exhibitors.

Going forward, Better Stands will become part of the stand build regulations. Compliance will be monitored throughout the event cycle from stand plan submission through to on-site review and verification.

Why Remove Disposable Stands?

Disposable stands are used only once and create considerable environmental, health, and safety issues on site. In some regions, disposable stands can make up more than 80% of the events total waste.

There is a need for stands, constructed safely, which can be reused in the future, ensuring safer, smoother builds and importantly contributing to a significant reduction in the waste generated at each and every event.
